Halloween Infographic Dr. Mendoza CVT Interview

Posted on

If you are truly committed to your Halloween costume, you know that you need to dress up from head to toe. That means if you’re dressing up as a cat, you will have the ears, the tail and the eyes. Same goes for vampires; it won’t be scary if you don’t have creepy contacts! Whether it’s a cat eye or a red eye or even a rainbow eye, contact lenses can pull your look together like nothing else. This time of year, unique contacts are more desirable than ever, but you should still be going to your eye doctor to get the ones you want. Screen Shot 2016-10-21 at 10.42.11 AM
There are so many risks to getting your contacts from unsafe sources. Dr. Michael Mendoza went on House Call with Dr. Juan Bautista to discuss the dangers of non-prescription theatrical contact lenses on KSEE. Not only is it unsafe to get your costume contacts over-the-counter, it’s ILLEGAL. Check out his interview here, and while you’re at it, check out this convenient Halloween contact lens infographic. Remember: BEWARE of the terrors of non-prescription contact lenses! (While you’re picking up your costume lenses from your eye doctor, be sure to get an eye exam to confirm all-around eye health!)
