Laura Teasley, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist with subspecialty training in vitreoretinal surgery and uveitis. After earning her bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from the University of California, Santa Cruz, Dr. Teasley went on to receive her medical degree from Loma Linda University. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and her vitreoretinal fellowship at Retina Specialists of Boston and the Massachusetts Eye Research and Surgery Institute. She has been an associate professor at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in ophthalmology.
Dr. Teasley has participated as the principal investigator and sub-investigator on several national clinical trials for retina and macular diseases and has published numerous articles in leading scientific publications and medical journals. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists.
As a California native, Dr. Teasley’s hobbies and interests include scuba diving, underwater photography, and wine collecting—in addition to her love for pugs. She looks forward to serving patients in the Central Valley for many years to come.
