Dr. Richard Tamesis is a board-certified Ophthalmologist in the U.S. and the Philippines, as well as an Associate Professor at Loma Linda University where he is the Chief of Glaucoma Services in the Department of Ophthalmology. Dr. Tamesis completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of the Philippines, and completed his clinical fellowship at Harvard Medical School. He then became a resident physician at Ohio Valley Medical Center followed by a residency at the University of Nebraska.
Dr. Tamesis was a physician at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Nebraska, and an Assistant Professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He has over 23 years of experience and specializes in the diagnosis and management of glaucoma and uveitis. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four pugs. As a self-proclaimed computer nerd, Dr. Tamesis also enjoys attending the San Diego Comic-Con International convention.
