I know you are busy but I just have to let you know about this exceptional young man and how he completely made the experience at the Clovis office a 10+.

In short, my mother and I had an appointment there, I was in street attire and he had no idea I was an Eye Q employee.

As we sat and waited in the waiting area we watched the interaction between him and the patients, it was clear that they were also very impressed. He put them at ease at the front door and walked them through the process.

The senior patients he took extra care in. I really appreciated that as being a Care Giver for my mother who is 83 and gets confused very fast with the new technology.

He has a special compassion for people, that is rare today in any age group.

Had my first cataract removal procedure done and I don’t mind telling you I am the biggest chicken in town.

Got the super early appt and was greeted quickly, checked in, and boom! To the back! All of the staff was extremely friendly and got me settled down with their kindness. The anesthesia guy stopped by and we talked like old friends.

Dr. Shute did the procedure quickly, painlessly and everything was explained to me. He is the best of the best. Dr. Shute Sr. has been my optometrist for years and the friendliest and skill certainly runs in the family, but Dr. Shute Jr. is his own man and as in any business, the leader’s attitude and professionalism trickles down to his staff.

I wish I had gotten the ball rolling last year when I should have. My sight would already be a done deal. My fault for being a chicken bird. I’m looking forward to getting my other eye fixed and having great vision again!
