FDA Eye Drops Recall

Posted on

The FDA warns against 26 over-the-counter eye drop products sold under various brands like CVS and Rite Aid, due to a risk of eye infections leading to vision loss or blindness. These products should not be purchased or used. The manufacturer was asked to recall them after finding unsanitary conditions and bacterial contamination. CVS, Rite Aid, and Target have removed these products from their stores, while Leader, Rugby, and Velocity products may still be available and should be avoided. Seek medical help if you experience eye infection symptoms after using these products.
