The Valley Animal Center is a non-profit organization. Our facility is community-supported and does not rely on government funding. We are supported by your contributions, events, program fees, and corporate and foundation grants. Your gift, of any amount, is greatly appreciated and goes to help the animals in our care until they find their forever home.

H.O.P.E. Animal Foundation

H.O.P.E. Animal Foundation (Halt Overpopulation with Prevention and Education) was founded in 1998 in response to the growing concern over the vast numbers of dogs, cats, puppies and kittens put to death in shelters every day. In fact, California spends over $250 million each year to care for over 1 million unwanted and abandoned pets. Sadly, more than half of those animals are ultimately euthanized.

For The Sake of Dogs

For the Sake of Dogs, Inc. is a non-profit, no-kill, dog rescue organization. For the Sake of Dogs rescues and heals displaced, abandoned, and homeless dogs, of many different breeds, throughout the Central Valley of California. For the Sake of Dogs secures safe, loving, homes through a comprehensive adoption program and also provides sanctuary for dogs who cannot be adopted.
