Dr. Joann Adams enjoys providing primary optometric care to her patients including prescribing glasses and contact lenses, treating and managing ocular conditions such as macular degeneration, glaucoma, and diabetes.
Dr. Adams grew up in Fresno, CA. She received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from Fresno State University. After graduation, she moved to St. Louis, MO to attend the University of Missouri, St. Louis where she earned her Doctorate of Optometry degree. She began practicing as an optometrist in Missouri and Illinois, but has happily chosen to return to Fresno to be closer to her family & serve her community.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, exploring the outdoors, attending live music events, and spending time with her husband and cat.
